The half-mobile pulley is the characteristic element of the entire system and that is why it is subject to constant evolution. Designed with a larger diameter than the original, it allows for a significantly higher transmission ratio excursion compared to the original pulley.
Advanced CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) systems have allowed our technicians to analyze the movements of the entire system in the operating vehicle, further optimize the pulley geometry, and avoid collisions even in the most critical usage conditions. The new reinforcement ribs, developed to lighten the least critical areas, reduce inertia and consequently dissipate less energy from the engine.
